Groove monitor 2007

I am running XP pro 64bit and Groove Monitor 2007 will not initialise, either
on start up or from the start menu. I ran Office diagnostic and it seemed to
repair it. It started fine this morning but when I restarted the computer
this afternnon it failed to initialise again. The diagnostic could find
nothing wrong.

GrooveMonitor.exe is used to track changes within Groove File Sharing
workspaces (Groove synchronized windows folders). Since Groove can not
synchronize Windows folders within a 64-bit Operating System, GrooveMonitor
will be unable to run.

GrooveMonitor.exe is not needed for non-GFS related Groove functionality.

Thanks for that, but unfortunately it would appear that none of the Groove
2007 functionality is accessible with XP professional 64 bit. When I go to
the start menu, click all programs ,scroll to office and then try to start
Groove for the purpose of file sharing it still comes up with an error
stating that it can not be initalised. I think I shall to revert to using XP
home edition as I am finding too manycompatability issue with XP Pro 64 bit
