Groove Server vs. SharePoint Server

Hi,

What's the main aim of Groove Server when SharePoint Server exists? And when
is it better to use each one against other?

The Groove server is primarily for admin functions (management & relay) and
DataBridge (external data interface).
SharePoint server has different feature set one of which is integrating with
Groove space for file sharing.

Hi,
But do they work one under other, e.g. Groove Server on top of SharePoint?
or are they completely separated?

There is no relation between the SharePoint 2K7 Server and the Groove 2K7
Server.
Groove client space's Files tool can share its content with a SharePoint
site. Any connection is at the client level and not the two servers.
