Group 2 pictures together in Word 2007

I have two pictures I need to group together so they will move together in my
document. The two pictures were pasted into my document from the clipboard,
after pressing the "Prnt Screen" button. The old method of selecting them
both and clicking "Group" no longer works in this version of Word.

From the online help and other postings I have figured out that I need to
put my 2 pictures into a "Drawing Canvas".

I have now created a Drawing Canvas. So now my document contains three
objects - two pictures and a drawing canvas. The wrapping on everything is
something other than Inline.

NOW... how do I get these two pictures INTO that drawing canvas.

This seems to be the huge mystery, as I look through other postings. There
must be a way, or else everyone wouldn't keep saying that's what you have to
do to group the pictures together.

The online Help doesn't tell you HOW to do it. I cannot find any posting
here that tells me HOW to do it. If there's anyone out there who can shed
some light on this great mystery, I would really apprecite it.

I'll get you started by telling what does NOT work:
- Select the picture
- right-click to get the RM menu, choose COPY
- select the drawing canvas
- right-click to get the RM menu, choose PASTE.

Although this would be a very intuitive method, it simply does not work.
This only creates a copy of the picture in the document near the drawing
canvas.

Any useful info would be mose humbly appreciated!!
