(Group) after file extension

Would anyone know why on a normal data worksheet there is
(Group) added after the file extension, ie. .xls (Group).
The data in this worksheet cannot be sorted or filterd. Do
you know how to remove this (Group)?.

You've grouped two or more sheets.

Right click on one of the selected sheets and choose Ungroup Sheets.

Check both/all sheets thoroughly - any change you made in one while
they were grouped will have been made in both/all.
