Hello NG,
On a Project Server 2007 SP2 we have a resource custom field based on
a lookup table with the resource skill. This field is set to roll down
to assignments; from the Resource Usage I can change the skill for a
particular assignment. (Let's say, John is usually a bass player but
on a specific assignment I want him to be a singer). I want to be able
to group the assignments and find out, for instance, the quantity of
work assigned to a particular skill. If I select "Group by" and insert
the skill field and say that I want to group assignments (based on the
value of the assignment field), the system is not able to group (it
actually creates a group for any single assignment with "No Value").
Funny thing is that if I use a field without a lookup table,
everything works fine!!
Why is that? How can I group the assignment using a field with lookup
table?
Any help highly appreciated!
