Hi,
In the past I've been shown spreadsheets that have little plus signs to the left of the row numbers. Clicking these collapses & un-collapses rows into groups.
Which feature of Excel is this?
I have large amounts of "tiered" data (from Level 1 to Level 6, as column headings), that I'd like to view tier by tier, or group and un-group, or collapse and un-collapse, if you like. A crude representation is below:
What I have...
Level 1 text
Level 2 text
More level 2 text
Level 3 text
Level 3 text
Even more level 2 text
And some more level 2 text
Level 3 text
Level 3 text
Level 4 text
What I would like....
- Level 1 text
Level 2 text
+ More level 2 text
Even more level 2 text
- And some more level 2 text
Level 3 text
+ Level 3 text
Any pointers?
Cheers
Giles
