I have created Group Email Lists but the messages I send to them will not send, I get an Error 5.1.1 Not our customer. Explanation Mail could not be sent Account Name: "comcast" Error - 17099. Please help.

One of the group emails is incorrect. Could just be an extra space in the
address.

Error -17099

This error is coming from your ISP.

Users have reported this error when sending to large groups. ISPs limit the
number in a group. Usual number is 50 recipients to avoid spammer misuse.
Entourage has no limit. You should contact your mail provider to ascertain
the maximum number of recipients per message and note it. You can use the
free "Split Recipients" script to send a mass e-mail in separate mailings
automatically:

Most ISPs also require you to use their SMTP address when sending.

There is some problem in using groups with Entourage and Comcast. They won't support of course. My groups are less than 30 and they say I should be able to send to about 100. The addresses are perfect (no spaces, etc) because if I enter them one by one into the To: field they all go out as a bunch - just not when I enter the group name. I get the -17099 and a 5.5.0, but this is true with all the groups I try to send on Comcast.

Also, I have to hit "send and receive" every time I want to receive - the messages don't come through automatically.
