Group items at intervals

I'm not able to get grouping items on intervals working. I'm using OWC11
PivotList and FoodMart 2000 OLAP datasource. When I select a cell in the
totals column and select the Filter and Group tab on the properties dialog,
the Group area of the tab is grayed out. Does anyone know how to get this to
work?
