Group Policy - Shared Template Folder

I recently applied a group policy for our users so that they can have a
shared directory for Office templates. Since the policy has been applied,
when users exit Microsoft Word they are sometimes warned that changes have
been made that affect global template, Normal. Do you want to save changes.
Is there a way to prevent this when using a shared template directory.
Sometimes the message is an error stating that normal.dot is read-only as
well. Any help would be appreciated. If there is a better solution for
sharing templates, that would be appreciated as well.

Thank you!

Normal.dot is intended to be individual user based and should not be included in the shared/workgroup template area.

I am trying to use the ADM included with the ORK. I really only want to share
a power point template and make it easily accessible for the entire company
who connect through Terminal Services. In the ADM, I couldnt find how to do
it JUST for Power Point. I only saw a general "Shared Templates Location"
which is the reason I am having problems. What would be the best way to
accomplish what I am trying to do? Thank you!
