in resoure usage view , i add " cost 3 " field and i group by resource group
but it doesn't show the sum of summary on the title of each group.

Hi parastoo mousavi,
Right click on the Cost3 field and choose customize fields from the shortcut
menu. In the "Calculation for task and group summary rows" select Rollup and
then Sum.
Click OK.
You should now see the sum of the Cost3 field with the Resource Group applied.

cost3 field has 3 tyoe ,task field , resource field and assignment field ,
the method that you mentioned is usefull for task type and resource type but
not usefull for assignment type and the tyoe of cost3 field in resource usage
is assignmet.

Hi Parastoo Mousavi,
Sorry for the miscommunication. I assumed you had added information to the
resource line in the resource usage view. From your post I now understand
that you had added cost3 information to the assignments in the resource usage
view. Try the "Assignments keeping outline structure" group and still set
the Cost3 field to Rollup - sum. See if that shows what you are looking for.

Sorry, after more thought - you will want to modify the "Assignments keeping
outline structure" group to include the Group field (resource) as the first
line. Then you should see what you are looking for.
