Grouped Text Boxes and Graphics- WHY DONT THEY UNIFORMLY CHANGE SI

When grouping multiple objects and graphics, the general past experiences ive
had are that they will shrink and expand together, as a group, in ratio to
their original size and location. But, i can only recall doing this on a
previous version or MS Word; i am currently using MS Word 2007. I desperately
need this problem solved, anyone know what i can do!?
