Grouping dropdown menu's

Hi.

I'v got one form with 10 comboBoxes ( dropdown menu ).
User can select 5 different things from each combobox.
It's working OK bu now i got problems with selection and grouping.

My idea is to set 3 main groups ( Material, Color, Pattern ) and
depending on user group selection, dropdown menues would pull out
predefined data for each group.

I am doing this cuz i have cca 15 "things" in each comboxox and it's to
much to list and search thru all this each time. It would be much easyer
if user selects one main group and then you can have 4-6 things in comboxes.
