Grouping equations and imported pictures in word 2008

Im using Word 2008 for Mac.

I'm trying to group two images - one image from Grapher, imported
using "Grab" and an equation created with MathType. I've found the
"Group-Ungroup-Regroup" Pulldown within the formatting palette, but
can't manage to select both pictures at the same time. Their layout
is "In front of text" currently.

Thanks for any help.

If you hold down the Shift key as you click each object, you should be
able to select as many as you want.
