Grouping notes

Just started using OneNote for research purposes.

Really useful BUT I can't find a way to group separate notes. That is, if I
C&P several text sections or want to combine a C&P with my own comments, I
can't keep them together. Also, the different elements of a drawing aren't
joined up.

I can draw a box around everything I want to group but there's no Word style
right click "group" option.

Is there a way to do this?

APOLOGIES... I now see the query about locking handwritten notations is
essentially the same.

Looks like grouping is a group issue?

Playing around and a bit of thought made me realise that if you open a new
text box you can then paste or drag&drop different elements, including text,
pdf snapshots, screen shots etc into a single box.

Doesn't help for hand drawn diagrams/notes etc, but certainly useful for
grouping related items.

I agree that this is probably the single biggest improvement that One Note
could make. This inability to lock notes and annotations together is my
biggests problem with One Note that will cause me to bolt to an alternative
if it ever becomes available.
