grouping or filtering tasks

Hi There

I would like to to be able to get a print out of the Gantt Chart view with
only tasks assigned to and/or Resource A, and/or Resource B and 'and/or
Resource C

I used to use the resources reports in MSP but in this case we need to
retain the Gantt Chart view

I have tried to create a new filter but I cannot get it to do what I need,
in that it only filters tasks that equals a specific resource and I cannot
get it to use the end/or parameter

Hello Jackie,

Instead of using the condition "equals" in the filter definition,
use "contains". If a task is assigned to either A or B or C. To
make the prompt show, enter the prompt in the value section. The
prompt must be enclosed in opening and closing quotes with a
question mark outside the close quote.

Thanks, it works great

One more little thing, I have lost all the summary tasks from the Gantt
view, in that it only shows tasks assigned to these resources and does not
show where these tasks belong in the plan. Is there a way around that

To show the summary tasks, edit the filter and check (enable) the
option "Show related summary rows."
