Grouping without a primary key

I have a table that contains events, a type or diary if you will. There is
not a primary key for this table, but I have indicated that the field,
EventDate, be indexed and allow duplicates.

How do I group by the event date in a report? Also, will this automatically
sort on the date or do I need to do something for that to happen?

If you want an Access report to group by and/or sort by a field, you'll have
to tell it to do that.

In report design mode, click on the Toolbar button for Grouping/Sorting.
