Grouping

Can I group a bunch of words, arrows, numbers. Often times when combining
slides from our CFO, his numbers get misaligned. If I am able to group then
this would not happen and give me a little more control. We are not sure why
this misalignment happens.

You can use the tabs on the ruler in PowerPoint the same way you would use
them in Word for aligning texts and numbers. Click "View" | "Ruler" to
show/hide ruler.

Yes, you can group object in PowerPoint; the exact steps are dependent upon
the version of PP you are using.
