Groupwise and Proxy -vs- Delagation and others

I have a client that we have converted from Groupwise 6.0 and they are use to
the proxy feature of Groupwise where you literally become the other user and
send mail from their mailbox. I have setup the delegation part of Outlook
have yet to figure out how to author an email from their mailbox. I can reply
to one and it show correctly but not a new email.

Another issue is that with groupwise you could look at the properties of a
set email and see if it had been delivered, opened, deleted, etc. Can you do
this and if so how?

Thanks for any help.

Mark,
We recently moved from GW to OL. We ran into this same issue.

In Active directory you can give that user Send As rights. GO to the user's
object that you want to send from. Go to the security tab and add the user
you want to be able to send as that user. Add the Send As right.

In regards to viewing properties and whether an e-mail has been delivered
you need to use tracking options. In OL you can turn on tracking options by
going to Tools>Options>Tracking Options and select your desired options.
