Grrrrr How do I keep FrontPage from changing my STUFF

Is there any way that I can get FP 2002 to not change some of the
custom coding that I have made? Or even keeping FP from adding stuff
into my html files? My problem is that I have some special htmling
going on and when I open it with FP it tells me
"The contents of a FrontPage component have been modified. These
contents will be overwritten when you save this page."
I do not want this happpening! PLEASE HELP!

Thanks but I have tried that. I get The contents of a FrontPage
component have been modified. These contents will be overwritten when
you save this page message as soon as I open the file with FP.

Makes sense to me that if you add a FP component that FP keeps an eye on the
code of that component.

What component are you trying to edit ?

Here is one of the html files that I have that get's modified. They
work fine when you open them with a browser but just with FP it strips
it.

If you are attempting to modify the code generated by an FP component (e.g.,
themes or the dreaded "hoover" buttons), you are SOL. FP will always *fix*
your modifications upon reopening the file. You're better off learning how to
use Includes, CSS, JavaScript, etc. to accomplish the same task, or else learn
to live with what FP foists upon you.

There in NO way. Send a request to (e-mail address removed), to have the
ability to turn it off, if enough people request it, they will HAVE to put
it in. Probably they won't have a plug-in for current versions, just new
ones. :(
