guestbook form problem

Dave

Hi there,

I have friend with a FP webbot guestbook problem. The
form for comments is presented twice. I've tried to fix
the problem but in front page editor the form is only
there once. As soon as I publish the page, though, the
form appears twice on the web. I started over with a new
page using the same guestlog file and it also is
duplicated.

When I create a new page with a new guestlog file, it is
OK. I've looked in the guestlog file and there isn't a
form entry in there.

Has anyone seem this problem before?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Stefan,

This may be related to the size of the include file
(which isn't very large at all) and may be in the server
extensions. I removed some entries from the include file
and the duplicate form went away.

Duplicate problem:

http://www.novicerock.com/guestbook2.htm

Problem went away by removing some entries at end of
logfile:

http://www.novicerock.com/guesttest.htm

Thanks,

Dave.
