Guide marks wont go away when printing

I created a blank document to use to print note cards. When viewing in print
preview it shows my text as well as the half boxes (right angle type
things)in the four corners. When i print one of the half boxes that i assume
are there as page guides keep printing on the card. Does anyone know how i
can turn this off?

Look in your advanced printer settings
for..."Crop Marks"...uncheck it.
