Well, a guide-point doesn't normally have a geometry section, but the linear
guides do, and for them the geometry.noshow cell DOES turn off the guide's
visibility, however shapes will still snap to the (now invisible) guide.
If you add geometry to a guidpoint, and make the geometry a non-point, then
the guide (suprisingly) seems to turn into a sort of guide shape. Which
could be really useful! I wasn't aware of this feature, and frankly, I'm a
bit suspicious as to whether it's trustworthy...
