Is there a certain criteria that I must follow in order to create my own
stationary in the form of an image I create as jpg or gif? I recently
created an image in photoshop dropped it into the Common Files/Microsoft
Shared/Stationary file and it isn't been seen. I have looked at the size of
the other background images which all seem to be varied. mine if about the
same- I have also named it "Title bkgrd.jpg" as are the other background
images and still undetected. Anyone have any experience with this?

Which application are you referring to? There are several Office
applications that use stationEry.

For the most part though, you should follow similar guidelines as for
web-page backgrounds - keep the image files small. Consider using GIF rather
than JPG for images <256 colours.

Sorry about that Mike-

I am referring to Outlook 2002. I will try your suggestions and check back
with my results.

Mike,

I see that if I go into Outlook Express and use the stationary editer to
create, I can use my image and it places it in the Shared folder for
Microsoft autmatically and it is seen by Outlook. One problem with that is
the image is now tiled in Outlook even though I set it and a single image
centered on the page in OE. Dont see any stationary configuration opption in
Outlook...at least not to create...like OE...seems strange.

Are you using HTML, RTF or Word mail format?
