Scenario
In a SharePoint 3.0 document library, we want to implement something like a
"Take Me Offline" action at the document library level.
The action would use GWS in Groov 2007 to provision a new workspace, add me
as manager to the space, add a SharePoint Files tool to it, configure it to
point back to the SharePoint site (programmatically), force an initial file
synchronization and finally, setup a schedule for subsequent
synchronizations.
Questions
1. Is it possible to *programmatically* create, configure, force sync and
schedule a SharePoint Files tool in a Groove 2007 workspace?
2. If this can be done with GWS, I presume it can be prototyped using the
Groove 2007 desktop client. Besides the usual scalability/managability
benefits of using the Groove enterprise databridge, what are the specific
benefits/advantages of using the data bridge?
Thanks,
Michael
