Hi,

I still have the impression as if somebody is spying or
entering my machine, even without the Internet connection.
Is it possible or is it a Virus which is not being
detected by Norton Antivirus. The mouse tends to click
randomly anywhere.

Recently I am not even able to defragment my disk, neither
run the system scan.
Please help.
Regards
Surender.

Do you have a plain, two-button mouse (with cord)? Attach it to the mouse
port on your computer to see if it also mis-behaves. If the corded mouse
operates correctly, then the problem may be with your wireless mouse.

Also, you may wish to search for spyware on your system. Go to:

Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com

Spybot Search and Destroy: http://spybot.safer-networking.de/

Each of the above utilities is free and will detect and remove spyware or
other malware from your computer.

Additional help on security issues for your computer can be found in the:

While it could be a virus, it also sounds like a bad mouse. Make sure
your Norton is up to date. If it is over a couple of weeks old it is
missing some important viruses.
