Hand writing notes in ON 2003 on a tablet PC

DJS

I installed ON 2003 on my ibm x41 table pc thinking that I could use it for
note taking. Unfortunately, maybe user error, I am not able to get the notes
towork properly for me. As I write, everytime I pause ON creates a new note
on the page. This is very frustrating. Is there better way for me to use this
feature to get larger note blocks, so I can pause?

I'm too busy with school, or trying to pretend that I am to even take the
time to learn how to set up the most rudimentary web site. But I can send
it to you or any web site that asks for it. Just ost a munged version of
your e-mail address and I will send it to you.

In my posting of Aug. 3 in the thread "Synchronizing Files in OneNote 2007"
I had offered to host your papers on my FTP-site.
Not having seen a reply but assuming that it would be oK for you, I
meanwhile plced the paer on handwriting on my FTP-site for downlaod.

I did not yet create a webpage with a reference but t the file cann be
downloaded directly:
ftp://ftp.hs-heilbronn.de/vdb/onenote/on_handwriting.pdf
so may insert the link in posting on further requests.

I would be willing to upload anything else from you (as well as from
others).

P.S.: As sais in some other therad already: Thanks again for mailing the
paper. Unfortunatly I kept the paper only and deleted the mail so that I don
not have your address :-( :-(
You may reach me uner taesler [at] hs-heilbronn [dot] de.

You are only too right with your comaplaining ...
So I am trying to come up with one sentence that states it
clearly enough so even those users will know what we are talking
about. I can see that the topic will come up a lot.

Yes, as well as others.
But synchroniastion - due too the revolutionary concept in ON - IMO
will become one of the topics most frequently posted appearing.
And it's quite some work to type the same thing again and again ...
Maybe we should just get someone to put clear instructions
up on their web site and then just direct everyone there.

This would be one way.
There's tons of stuff on Blog-sites. But the world has not become
easier since bloggin has been invented [siiiih]
I can write the instructions but I am not a web site
guy so I won't be putting up any web sites any time soon.

The easiest thing for the meantime would be to write up the text and
store it in ON <g> in order to just copy+paste it into a reply in this
NG/forum.

If there would be more stuff, I could think of adding a simple page
with just a TOC for the topics to my website and storing the texts on
my FTP-site for download.

The latter could also work with just a link in a posting.
If you'd send me files (be it pure text or perhaps a ON page) I would
upload them and mail you the link(s).

How's that for a beginning?
