HANDHELD SYNC

HI,
I have entourage and a palm handheld. i originally installed handheld sync
software so my palm has been syncing with entourage. In a long story, the
bottom line is I lost all info on entourage and my handheld, ie calender,
memos, tasks and addresses. I had a back up issue as well. anyway still
have all my old info addresses, tasks and memos on the palm desktop
software and want to hotsync this to my palm to rescue my old data. I can
not find a way to unistall the handheld sync software to allow my hand held
to hotsync with the palm desktop. Any help?

If you're using Entourage X/OS X, go to HD/Library/Application Support/Palm
HotSync/Disabled Conduits, and drag the "Address," "Datebook," "Memo," and
"ToDo" conduits to HD/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits.

Then, go to HD/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits, and drag
the "Microsoft Entourage Conduit" to HD/Library/Application Support/Palm
HotSync/Disabled Conduits.

Now, go to HD/Applications/Palm/, launch HotSync Manager, and go to HotSync
-> Conduit Settings. Select the Address Book conduit, click the "Conduit
Settings" button, and select "Macintosh overwrites handheld." repeat for
the Datebook, Memo, and ToDo conduits. Then, plug in your Palm device, and
begin synchronization, so that all of the data in Palm Desktop is
transferred to your handheld.

To restore the Entourage Conduit, simply move the conduits you moved earlier
back to their original locations.
