Handle Resource availability according to his Skills

Hi all,
i want to handle a resource that has two skills:
Analog Eng & Digital Eng.
the organization decided that the availability of each Skill will be:
Analog Eng - 40%
Digital Eng - 60%

i want to know what is the allocation of this resource according to his
skill and according to the Skill Availability.

Do you know of a way that handled Resource Skills Availability

There is no default method, either in Microsoft Project or in Project
Server, to accomplish this. Therefore, you would need to make this a formal
process when assigning resources to tasks. Hope this helps.

 

[Handle Two Resources as Skills]

Hi Dale,

thanks for your answer. i thought about creating two Resources' for exanple:
Jim Geler Analog with 40% Availability
Jim Geker Digital with 60% Availability

the problem is that the real Jim will have to follow and report in two
different account, and we don't want users to have this kind of work with the
system.

if you'll think about any other way, i'll be happy to hear about it.
