handwriting conversion

Is there a way to write on a tablet pc in MS Word and quickly convert that to
text, such as in the case of making corrections in text? Thanks.

I don't think Word has such a function built-in. You should probably ask
the same question in the Word newsgroup. If there is any way (meaning
3rd party add-in), someone there will know.
Please be specific and include information such as your Word version.

Thanks, did you see my previous question about how to make the convert
handwriting feature work for a whole page at a time?

Yes, but I didn't remember until just right now how to do it
If my memory serves me correctly, you can right-click on a page tab in
ON 2003 and then select convert handwriting to text.
In ON 2007 that option seems to be no longer there. However, if I have
nothing selected on a 2007 page, Tools, Convert Handwriting to text will
convert the entire page.

If you want to write in handwriting then _immediately_ convert that to
text then just use the Text Input Panel.

I don't know a way to convert handwritten notes to text in Word. But I
don't use them often either.
