handwriting dissapears

In one note when I begin writing with my Tablet PC's pen, the writing
dissapears after about 10 seconds. How do I fix this?

You are using the "Use Pen as a Pointer" tool. It is specifically
designed for giving lectures or showing people things. You can circle the
important parts without messing up your documents.

Just use the correct pen tool instead.
