We have just acquired 20 Toshiba M200 tablet PCs. When I
try to do a custom install of Office 2003, under
alternative input, handwriting is not there. And the
handwriting icons do not appear on the language toolbar.
However, if I try to use that same CD to install Office
2003 on my desktop machine, handwriting can be selected as
an option under alternative input.
If I take that CD to yet another system, handwriting is
there under alternative input, but is marked with a red X
as being not available.
It seems that the Office install program is doing some
kind of an analysis of the system before listing options.
How do I make it specify handwriting as an option?
