Handwriting recognition and XP tablet edition

I have installed office 2003 with its service pack one on a tablet pc with
Windows XP tablet edition on a tablet pc. I Cannot get handwriting
recognition to install.

It does not show up in the advanced install options in the alternate user
input setup tree under office shared features. I see speech recognition there
but not text recognition. the Microsoft handwriting component does install.
As a result of all this Writing recognition does not show up in the language
bar. I have tried repairing and reinstalling office to no avail. As a
result it does not alllow wrting anywhere. Any Suggestions would be welcomed!

Thank you for the information. I have found another thread which indicates
that WA was removed as part of the SP2 upgrade.
