handwritten text becomes squiggly after writing

New to OneNote. I'm using a Wacom tablet to write notes in the OneNote 2007
program and every time after I finish writing something my text becomes
squiggly automaticaly. Why does it do this?

What do you mean by "squiggly?" Sharply slanted, underlined or something
else?

It looks like I was shivvering or riding on a bumpy bus when I wrote it.
It's not as though I have an italicized or underlining mode on, and no letter
"squiggles" the same way either.
