"hangapp" in MS Word

As I use Word, the application halts. When I attempt to continue to do
further work in Work, the application indicates "NOT RESPONDING." I send the
error report to Micosoft. I find out the problem is "HANGAPP."

I have no choice but to use Word, so I want to fix this problem if possible.

Are you clearing out your crashed temp files after each crash?
Probably not and that is most likely what is causing the problem.
That...or maybe you have some new addin that is a problem. Or your
Normal.dot has become corrupt.

Check out this article for various suggestion to fix the problem. But
do the TEMP clear first, suggesed in this first article as that's
generally the fastest fix for the majority of problems like this.
