I am in the process of reformatting many documents, some
of which I think were originally created in WordPerfect
(They were given to me as Word docs; however, when I go to
Options | Compatibility | Do full justification like
WordPerfect, the lines in a manually-numbered list
*sometimes* wrap correctly. But only sometimes.) I am
reformatting them all in Word 2002.
I have had several frustrations with this process,
including:
Hanging indents do NOT wrap correctly at the second line,
despite the fact that the margins for my manually-numbered
text show up correctly:
a. in the ruler bar;
b. when I check the Reveal Formatting Window;
and c. when I double-check the style for this kind of
list. When I compare selections, there appears to be no
difference between my list and a list that lines up
correctly elsewhere in the same document with the same
formatting.
Ideas?
THANK YOU!
