I just upgraded to Word 2003 from Word 2000. When I try to set a
hanging indent or tab stop by clicking and dragging on the ruler, Word
will not allow me to place the hanging indent or tab stop at an exact
interval (0.5, 1.0, 1.5) but rather places it slightly off (0.52, 1.03,
1.52). I can correct this, or set it at the exact interval, by going
through the Format > Paragraph/Tabs menu, but really would like to be
able to just click on the ruler instead of wading through the dialog
boxes. Is there a new automatic setting I have not yet found in 2003
to disable?
Thank you for your kind assistance.
