Hangs in XP Pro 64 bit

Visio 2003 Pro hangs when starting up.
XP Professional 64 bit edition

Has this issue been resolved? Is there a way to run visio on this
machine with this OS?

I've got this same issue although I've managed to narrow it down to the
Database Model Diagram. Opening, or Creating one of these diagram simply
hangs the application in a 64 bit environment.
