Happy Holidays

Hi all -

I'd like to take this time to wish all of you and yours a very happy holiday
season.

One of the many things that I am very thankful for, are the many new friends
I have had the pleasure to get to know on this newsgroup. Many on an
electronic basis, and those I've had the very great pleasure to meet
personally at the PPT Live conference. .;-))

It is quite a community here, and I think we all appreciate that...

Have a good 'un everyone. Now...I gotta go try to find the turkey daddy
bought. Dang.....he would have to decide to buy a live bird this year......
<sigh>

Omigosh, you didn't let that sucker (the turkey, not your daddy) read over
your shoulder while we wuz carryin' on about chicken feathers???? No
wonder he got gone.

Happy holidays back atcha Jan. At least you don't have to get in the water
to chase your Thanksgiving main course. The water is somewhat murky where I
have to try to catch my favorite little buggers. I just hope the current
from the outflow is not too strong during this harvest. It's kinda hard
swimmin' against it and snatchin' those slimy little varmints.

Well, I hope everyone has a good appetite for all the delicious treats in
store. <g>

Nooo...everybody knows that turkey's can't read.. :)) See...he just liked
to sit by the monitor and chase the cursor on the screen. But, I think when
I went to the Turkey Baking website he saw the pictures and got a bit
panicky and took off.

I finally found him up the street in my neighbors hen house, sitting on a
roost with some chickens. Have ya ever heard a turkey try to cackle like
a chicken?? Tru-ly pa-thetic. Shoo...as if I wouldn't notice that big ugly
red emergency flag hanging down across his nose?? Well...when I finally
got him back home, mom stared at me for a minute, then asked me why
there were funny looking footprints across my forehead and up the back
of my head. (I decided that too many details was not a good thing at the
moment.) 'k...so I asked the folks which one of them was going to dress
it...and they sat looking at me like they had no idea who I was.

At this point I decided to take him back to the turkey farm (ahmm....the
turkey, not my daddy). But...have ya ever tried to put a seatbelt on a
turkey?? Well..when I told the owner at the turkey farm that I wanted to
trade that live bird for one that was already dressed for Thanksgiving,
he didn't seem to mind the idea at all. But...when he asked me if I
wanted formal or casual attire, I decided to just leave the turkey with
him and went to the supermarket and bought one ready to bake.

and....all is well in Valhalla...;-)))

I can imagine it would be a bit hard to do. And, I bet they're kinda hard
to stuff too. I mean, they don't have any eyes or tails..???
Well, I hope everyone has a good appetite for all the delicious treats in

Tsk. Didn't mama have a Barbie Turkey when she was just a little tyke?

And what'd he bake for you?

And until recently, we had a turkey to watch on team day.

Go Redskins??????

I e-mailed a buddy of mine in Southern Maryland when the Cowboys won a
couple of weeks ago. He was giving me heck about us having the TUNA. I
told him, "At least we don't have the FLOUNDER!" HA!

TAJ, I love you anyway, even though you know not of what you speak (with
regards to football)! HA!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Go Packers!

(And may everyone have a safe and fulfilling Thanksgiving. We here at the
Jacobs household are having ham instead of turkey, but otherwise the spirit
is the same!

Go Packers!

Heyyyyy...no crying on the infield! Remember, our Chargers had Cryin' Ryan
Leaf for all those years, and now we have Brees and Flukie...eh Flutie, and
we can hold our head up high as being a true legend of a losing team. We
have not been anything since they got rid of Boss Ross. And now...the only
player that really even stilled cared, Junior Seau. So, now that they are
the team with no where to go but up, and they can't even find that button on
an elevator, they are insisting on a new staduim or they will leave San
Diego...Bwwaaaaahhhhhaaaaa!!!!!!!!

Me???? I root for the Cowpersons too.... ;-))

Yeah, that's where we used to be with the Bungles. Lousy team but demanded
a stadium or else they'd infest some other hapless burg.

Well, by golly, we've put in the years of inbreeding it takes to produce the
kind of leaders who'll fall for this bumff, so now we have a useless team
and a great big ugly wart of a football stadium blighting our riverfront.
AND a mountain of debt. As soon as we finish paying off the stadium we tore
down to make room for this, we can start paying off this one.

O the joy.

That's a cheek....we invented the game of football.

You guys kinda merged rugby and football to create the game you know of as
football...and then rename our game 'soccer'

OK...so washington are having an off season or two or eleven. They'll be
back one year. I remember '88...when they stuffed Elway 42 to 10.

So there!

Well, needless to say by the fact that I am writing to you at 5:30 Central
time, things aren't boding well for the CowGirls! HA! Oh well, there is
always that other game this year that should be pretty easy! DOH!

Hope you had (have) a great day today! Back to the Miami game!
