I have Partition Magic 7.0 on a Windows XP machine,
running Outlook Version 2002. A long time ago I had
separated my 40 GB hard drive into four partitions of 10
GB each. The C: partition was to hold programs, and the
other three partitions were for data.
Yesterday I noticed that the C: partition had 8 GB filled
and only 2 BG free, so I ran Partition Magic and increased
the C: partition's size to 16 GB by reallocating space
from other partitions to the C: partition.
After I did this, Outlook freezes when I start it up. I
can't get calendar or contacts and it won't handle e-mail.
It won't display drop down boxes, either. I tried a system
restore to when I had not re-partitioned, but got a notice
saying that it would not restore to before I re-allocated
the space.
This seems like another one of those computer gotchas.
Anyone know what I might do to fix this? Please give an
answer in non-techie language to the greatest extent
possible. I really don't talk the lingo. Thanks in advance.
