Harddrive has MS Office Icon? Help!

Trevor

My friend is having a problem, he is running XP and his
C: Drive icon looks like a CD-Rom icon and has the MS
Office logo next to it and when he clicks on it it plays
the Win 98 startup sound (if I remember what it sounds
like correctly)and that's it. Any ideas? Also when you
right click the HD and goto explore you can see the files
there but not when you left click on it. Please help! I'm
stuck!

Thanks in advance,

Trevor

Sounds like he's looking at the CD ROM drive, not the hard drive.

.

He is looking at the harddrive but it has the CD Icon and
an MS Office Logo next to it, he doesn't even have an MS
Office CD. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
