Hardware acceleration issue

The check 'Use hardware acceleration' is unchecked every time I run a
slideshow.
But when hardware acceleration is unchecked, my transitions do not go
smooth.

On the internet, it is said this 'Use Hardware Acceleration' is a computer
setting, not depending on a specific powerpoint file.

Does anyone else has problems with this check disappearing? If so, how did
you fix this ?
