Hardware for One Note

Does anyone know of any hardware that will allow handwriting capture in real
time?

I am looking at the i-Pen as a solution to be able to write up notes. I have
asked them if they integrate with one note.

Trying to find a low cost alternative to purchasing a tablet Laptop.

Ah. Well, you can capture handwriting as an image with a lot of things,
including the Wacon tablets. But OneNote won't treat that as digital ink.
No good alternative to the Tablet PC (with the Tablet PC operating system)
for that I'm afraid.

There are some of the digitizers that will accept your writing and do the
ink recognition for you then let you send that pre-recognized text to
OneNote but I haven't tried any of them and don't know if they're any good.
