has anyone been successful at recording narrations inPowerpoint2004?

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with successful recording of narrations with
Powerpoint 2004?

Has anyone else experienced an inability to capture the entire length of the
audio for a narration for a slide?

I would really rather work with Powerpoint 2004 if I can.
