has anyone had problems opening csv files in office 2007 ?

I've upgraded from office 2003 to 0ffice 2007 - no matter how many
downloads/upgades i install the excel will not open a .csv file- either an
'older 2003' version or one created in 2007 - has anyone else experiecned
this or does anyone know the answer? - thank you

Try this first

Run Office Diagnostics.
Office Button>Excel Options...Resources

Hi Ron, Yes I've already tried that but it does not work. I'm running Windows
XP Professional & Microsoft Office Prfessional Plus 2007 - dont know if that
helps anyone ?
