Has anyone had trouble downloading office updates using internet .

I posted earlier but maybe used the wrong heading.
I tried downloading office updates using internet explorer.
After trying several times and getting an error message
that internet had to close down I went and tried my
AOL explorer and bingo, no problem at all.

Does anyone know why this was or could be?
