Has anyone here had experience making a form that does a search in SQL and returns a row in Excel?

I would like to get some help writing a bit of code that allows a user to
click a button to query a table using SQL.
The user would be presented with a search form driving a pick list.
After the user selects an entry from the list, that entry would be pushed
into the row where the user started from in Excel.
Anyone out there been there, done that?

Thanks,
Gregg

Yes. Please give more details e.g. which database product, what your
want to pick (tables, columns, values), etc.
