Has someone high jacked my site?

Hi there peeps, got a bit of a prob. Host is a bit
rubbish and may be the cause of probs. I will be finding
a new one. But in the mean time here is the prob:-

every time i upload a changed page to my remote site it
tells me that the page was changed on the 9.11.04 by ".
now i am not ". why would fp tell me this? Also it is
not recognising changed pages. when i click on view
remote site then pages to publish. Nothing comes up i
have to go into all files and the page that i change says
conflict in the left box and i then publish it from
there. The host was supposed to tell me how to change
the password that fp uses to access the remote site. But
instead changed it themselves telling i was not allowed
to. After that all formatting on the site went to pot.
And everything is misalingned.

Contacted them again, and they are pleading ignorance.
Telling me to send them a new password in an email to
change it again?

I really would appreciate it if someone knows of a u.k
based host with 24/7 support for windows. Preferably
from your own experience with 99.9% uptime. I am a new
business trying to get off the ground spent a lot on
advertising and now the site has gone belly up through no
fault of my own. Apologies message so long. Cannot
include site address as i don't want this web chat listed
on search engines. Thanks for all your time bye
