Hate iPhone. Considering Blackberry. Can I do this?

The fact that I STILL can't sync a to do look from my calender to my
cell phone is making me switch back to Outlook and Windows,
reluctantly, I must admit. But, before I do, if I get a Blackberry
will it hard sync to the Outlook on my desk top, and all my tasks will
sync back and forth? Could care less about the cool factor.
