My parents are not comfortable enough with a computer to go searching for
where their MS Office programs saved the file then to find the E: drive
folder and ask that the file be copied to the cd drive. As newer computers
only come with CDRW drives, your customers would benefit from an option to
"send to cd" on the MS Office file menue save options.

Is this a suggestion for Microsoft? If so, you might get a better response by
dropping it into the black hole, mailto:[email protected]

That email address really IS a black hole. It apparently hasn't been watched or
paid attention to for a couple of years now.

This is the second-favorite way of doing it now:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

But the MSBlessed Way is dumping suggestions into the newsgroup via the web
interface.

Huh. No way I'd ever remember that!

Yer kidding, no? They're encouraging that??? Why for, so that some dupe will go to
the trouble of responding, thus leaving the "customer" feeling they're not *totally*
ignored?

Say, you're not asking ME to justify or defend this, are ya? Nuh-uh.

Apparently when you see the suggestion from the webberface, you can vote on whether
you agree with the suggestion.

And nope. Ain't a gonna try to defend that idea either. <g>
