Have compressed picture. Possible to retrieve original?

Once a picture has been compressed and saved in microsoft office picture is
there anyway of retrieving the original uncompressed version. I know now
what I should have done but the picture cannot be retaken and I wanted the
uncompressed version.

nope. if you are sure you don't have the uncompressed one, then you don't
have it.

You might try a file recovery program like PC Inspector - free from
www.convar.com. This is a program that recovers deleted pictures in their
original format and size. It would be worth a try. Just my 1/2 cent worth.
